Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Marketing

About the role

Toptal is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to partner with its Marketing organization. In this remote position you will turn complex data sets into clear insights that guide paid search, organic search, and emerging generative‑AI channels. You will act as a strategic advisor, linking data analysis to marketing strategy and financial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze marketing data, build predictive models, test hypotheses and identify root causes.
• Develop prototypes, forecast performance, and run experiments to improve campaign outcomes.
• Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and write efficient SQL scripts for data extraction and reporting.
• Use descriptive and diagnostic analytics to generate actionable recommendations for marketing leaders.
• Define independent, holistic metrics and measure channel and campaign performance.
• Produce regular reports and ad‑hoc analyses that support data‑driven decision making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, managing competing priorities and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably within a marketing context.
• Strong ability to translate data findings into strategic business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive, "find a way" attitude.
• Comfortable working fully remote and independently while building positive relationships across the organization.
