Medical Billing Specialist – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Medical Billing Specialists to join our remote team serving U.S. rural and community hospitals, healthcare systems, and physician practices. The role involves data analysis, claim submission, and communication with insurers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
• Ensure patient medical information is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Prepare bills and invoices, documenting amounts due for procedures and services.
• Collect and review referrals and pre‑authorizations.
• Monitor, record, and follow up on late or missed payments.
• Examine patient bills for accuracy and request missing information.
• Investigate and appeal denied claims.

Required profile

• Minimum 80% English proficiency.
• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of proven medical billing experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using billing software.
