About the role

This full‑time remote position involves providing over‑the‑phone interpretation between Spanish and English speakers in medical settings. The interpreter will ensure accurate, confidential, and neutral communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Convey medical information in real time, using appropriate terminology.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA or equivalent standards.
• Follow client protocols and document call details when required.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality‑assurance teams to uphold service standards.

Required profile

• Fluency in Spanish and English with excellent listening and speaking skills.
• Prior experience as a medical interpreter or in a healthcare call‑center environment.
• Familiarity with patient confidentiality regulations (HIPAA or equivalent).
• Reliable high‑speed internet, a quiet workspace, and comfort working remotely.
