Bilingual Medical Patient Services Coordinator

About the role

The Bilingual Medical Patient Services Coordinator provides remote front‑desk and patient communication support to U.S. medical practices, handling calls, emails, appointment coordination, insurance verification and record maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound patient calls, emails and messages; make outbound calls for appointment confirmations and follow‑ups.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel and reschedule medical appointments while maintaining accurate provider calendars.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, update demographic information and keep records current in EMR/EHR systems.
• Update reports, databases and assist with routine documentation and special projects.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience supporting U.S. healthcare accounts (medical practice, BPO, CPO or freelance).
• Advanced English (C1/C2) and fluent Spanish, both written and spoken, with a neutral accent.
• Availability to work during U.S. business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
• Microsoft Office and Google Workspace competence.
• Experience verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
