Lien Negotiator (Remote)

About the role

HireHawk is seeking an experienced Lien Negotiator to manage medical and third‑party liens across personal injury cases. The role is fully remote, full‑time, and involves independent handling of an active caseload to improve settlement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the lien resolution process for a portfolio of personal injury cases.
• Identify, document, and track medical, insurance, government, and third‑party liens throughout each case.
• Negotiate lien reductions with hospitals, providers, insurers, Medicare, Medicaid, and other lienholders.
• Validate lien statements, billing records, and supporting documentation before settlement.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, duplicate charges, or incorrect balances.
• Coordinate with case managers and attorneys to align lien resolution with settlement timelines.
• Prepare accurate lien summaries and final figures for disbursement.
• Maintain organized lien documentation in Filevine and other firm systems.

Required profile

• Proven personal injury lien negotiation experience.
• Demonstrated success in reducing liens and increasing client net recovery.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, hospital and insurance liens.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload independently while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Filevine case management software (preferred).
