Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre‑Litigation Case Manager to independently manage U.S. personal injury cases from post‑intake through settlement and closing. The role offers meaningful autonomy while working within a supportive legal team and is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Open insurance claims, communicate with carriers, and verify policy limits.
• Coordinate medical treatment, connect clients with appropriate providers, and monitor treatment progress.
• Request, gather, and review medical records, bills, insurance documents, and other case materials.
• Identify next steps for each file and keep cases moving without delays.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, medical providers, insurers, and internal team members.
• Prepare demand packages by organizing documentation and drafting demand letters.
• Support settlement progression, including policy‑limit tenders and case closing.
• Assist with lien reductions when needed, leveraging firm support.

Required profile

• Prior hands‑on U.S. personal injury pre‑litigation case management experience (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the full pre‑litigation lifecycle, including opening, progressing, settling, and closing cases.
• Experience opening insurance claims, investigating coverage, and confirming policy limits.
• Proven ability to coordinate medical treatment and manage medical records and bills.
• Experience preparing cases for demand and drafting demand packages.
• Excellent written and verbal English with the judgment to work independently.
