Criminal Defense Intake Specialist (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Intake Specialist to join our talent network and support a U.S.-based law firm. The role involves handling inbound client inquiries, conducting detailed intakes, and qualifying leads for the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and potential client inquiries.
• Conduct detailed client intakes and gather case information.
• Screen and qualify leads based on the firm’s criteria.
• Build rapport with potential clients while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
• Follow up with leads and ensure timely communication.
• Accurately document information in the firm’s CRM or case management system.
• Coordinate consultations and appointments when appropriate.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in intake for a U.S. law firm.
• Criminal defense intake experience is required.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. legal system and criminal defense terminology.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience working with legal CRMs or case management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
