Intake Specialist – Social Security Disability (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

Legal Staff Now is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Intake Specialist with experience in Social Security Disability (SSDI/SSI) to support U.S. law firms. This fully remote, long‑term position is open to professionals located in Latin America who can handle legal intake, evaluate case eligibility, and deliver exceptional client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with potential Social Security Disability clients.
• Qualify leads by gathering essential SSDI/SSI case information.
• Assess basic eligibility criteria using firm guidelines.
• Document client details thoroughly in legal intake systems.
• Schedule attorney consultations and necessary follow‑ups.
• Provide bilingual support to clients (English & Spanish preferred).
• Maintain organized, confidential, and compliant case records.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and legal teams.
• Support daily intake performance goals with consistent follow‑through.

Required profile

• Experience handling Social Security Disability intake (SSDI/SSI required).
• Based in Latin America.
• Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to handle high‑volume calls with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured intake procedures.
• Remote‑work experience supporting U.S.‑based legal teams preferred.
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours.
• Reliable computer, headset, and high‑speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps).
