Human Resources Director

About the role

Keiser University Latin American Campus is looking for an experienced, results-oriented Human Resources Director to support its growing organization and strengthen HR operations, employee development and institutional compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with strong leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, able to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and follow up on HR processes in a timely way
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee integration
• Support employee relations, performance management and professional development
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and labour regulations
• Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and HR reports
• Support payroll, attendance, leave, benefits and other personnel administration
• Advise supervisors and employees on HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate employee evaluations and follow up on performance improvement needs
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives and compliance
• Develop HR metrics and reports for management decisions
• Promote a positive, professional and service-oriented workplace culture

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field
• Master's degree or postgraduate studies in Human Resources or Management preferred
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
• English proficiency required
• Experience in higher education or a multicultural organization is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration and labour compliance
• Experience with HRIS, HR analytics and digital HR tools is highly desirable
