Bilingual Paralegal – Immigration & Family Law (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized bilingual Paralegal to support U.S. immigration and family law attorneys. This fully remote position serves law firms based in the United States while being based in Latin America. The role requires managing cases, preparing legal documents, communicating with clients in English and Spanish, and tracking critical deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with immigration and family law case management.
• Prepare, draft, review, and organize petitions, applications, correspondence, and supporting evidence.
• Maintain case files in legal case‑management systems.
• Communicate with clients in both languages to request documents, provide updates, and follow up on requirements.
• Track deadlines, court dates, filing dates, and case milestones.
• Organize documentation for USCIS, immigration courts, family courts, and other agencies.
• Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and reports for attorneys.
• Coordinate with clients, courts, government agencies, and other parties as needed.

Required profile

• Based in Latin America.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• 2+ years experience supporting U.S. law firms as a Paralegal.
• Experience in U.S. immigration law and/or family law.
• Familiarity with immigration processes and related documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, technology‑driven environment.
