AI Engineer (Prompt) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is hiring an AI Engineer (Prompt) for fully remote work. The role focuses on designing, refining and evaluating prompts so that large language models give accurate, safe and domain-aligned results, especially in complex or regulated contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize sophisticated prompts to get structured, relevant responses from AI models.
• Implement evaluation methods to measure and improve prompt performance and reliability.
• Develop intent classification patterns so models correctly understand user requests.
• Work with domain experts to tune outputs for legal, compliance or specialized professional use cases.
• Validate outputs against safety and quality rubrics to reduce hallucinations and bias.
• Partner with technical teams to bring refined prompt strategies into production-ready AI applications.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in AI engineering, prompt engineering or natural language processing.
• Proven ability to design, refine and evaluate high-quality prompts for LLMs.
• Advanced English.

Required skills

• Structured output design and evaluation methodologies.
• Intent classification patterns and prompt iteration workflows.
• Practical Python knowledge for testing and automating prompt engineering tasks.
