Senior Accountant

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a fast‑growing fintech and cryptocurrency client. You will manage high‑volume accounting operations, ensure compliance, and provide financial insights for leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile cash and transaction activity across a nationwide network of digital currency kiosks.
• Support accounting for digital asset transactions, tracking volume and gains/losses across multiple revenue channels.
• Integrate and optimize cloud‑based accounting tools to scale with the business.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor relationships.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting for a licensed money services business.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of U.S. accounting experience; CPA preferred.
• Proven full‑cycle accounting in high‑transaction or multi‑location environments.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month‑end close skills.
• Ability to make sound financial judgments in a fast‑paced, high‑growth setting.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Based in LATAM or Europe.

• QuickBooks Online or similar cloud accounting software.
• Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, Google Drive.
