Remote Property Manager

About the role

A remote property manager is sought to support the management and direction of a portfolio of properties so that it is maintained and operated in line with the company's objectives. The role involves ongoing communication with residents and owners to meet the Standards of Service and plays an active part in the resident life cycle. Only candidates with property management experience will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing a portfolio of properties
• Resolve owner inquiries, questions and complaints by phone and email
• Use a CRM to follow up on requests
• Handle first-touch resident escalations, aiming for one-touch resolution
• Assist with habitability and legal claims when needed
• Help applicants and leasing specialists complete applications
• Confirm lease documents, signatures and deposits are submitted in line with policy
• Send addendums and CC&Rs after lease execution
• Follow up with residents after move-in and communicate with field agents on homes in marketing
• Assist with notice to vacate and move-out completion, and prepare non-compliance notices when needed

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a property manager
• Experience with Appfolio, Buildium, PropertyMeld or similar tools is mandatory
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with residents, board members and vendors
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, basic accounting and math skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, multitasking and organization

• Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule
• Hourly pay of $12-$14 depending on experience
