About the role

The Head of Recruitment and Selection will lead strategic hiring initiatives for key positions across Gildan's manufacturing plants. The role ensures timely, effective coverage of operational needs while aligning recruitment processes with the company's standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely and effective coverage of critical plant positions through strategic recruitment and selection.
• Execute recruitment and selection activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Apply psychometric and technical assessments to internal promotion candidates and external applicants.
• Coordinate interviews with plant managers and area supervisors.
• Provide recruitment status updates to the HR Management team.
• Advertise supervisory‑level job opportunities as needed.
• Manage internal and external recruitment systems.
• Maintain relationships with universities and private firms to ensure participation in job fairs.
• Conduct periodic file reviews to verify compliance with selection and onboarding processes.
• Follow up on new‑hire and exit surveys.
• Train and develop recruitment coordinators on selection techniques.

Required profile

• Industrial Engineering degree or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar HR role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Residence in the Carazo department or surrounding areas.
