Team Manager, Learning & Development

About the role

Remitly is seeking a Team Manager, Learning & Development to lead L&D strategy within the Customer Success organization, driving innovation, business impact and data‑driven development of L&D specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior L&D leaders to set vision, strategy and OKRs aligned with Remitly’s priorities.
• Lead strategic projects that advance Customer Success L&D objectives and measure business impact.
• Partner with HR, risk, customer service and other stakeholders to align L&D initiatives with business needs.
• Use data‑driven methods to assess program effectiveness and continuously improve offerings.
• Manage and mentor a high‑performing L&D team, ensuring stakeholder buy‑in and resource support.
• Oversee global curriculum updates, scalability of learning content and consistent implementation across regions.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Adult Education, HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years leading L&D teams and cross‑functional global projects.
• Proven track record delivering L&D solutions with measurable business impact.
• Strong influencing, communication and interpersonal skills with senior leaders.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sites, Slides, Sheets, Docs).
• Familiarity with data‑driven assessment methods and adult‑learning best practices.
