Human Resources Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Team Lead to oversee MEDVA partners and support the development of clerical HR staff. The role involves onboarding, recruitment, workflow optimization, employee engagement, and ensuring operational compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide team support, tools, and guidance while resolving workflow disruptions and maintaining confidentiality.
• Oversee recruitment of MEDVA partners, manage onboarding activation (including IT setup), and keep job descriptions current.
• Monitor timecards, approve weekly submissions, and promote productivity.
• Handle employee relations, coaching, counseling, and corrective actions to foster retention and team building.
• Act as escalation point for issues, communicate updates to leadership, and suggest workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of progressive supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to collaborate across organizational lines.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
