HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist provides comprehensive Human Resources support to employees, leaders, and business operations, acting as the primary HR point of contact for Operations teams. This role ensures consistent application of company policies and contributes to a positive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide Operations leaders on employee concerns, workplace issues, policies, and HR procedures.
• Conduct and document employee relations meetings and investigations, supporting corrective actions and ensuring proper follow‑up.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR processes for assigned sites or employee groups, including onboarding for supervisors and managers.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Coordinate HR activities such as focus groups, coffee talks, and gather employee feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations role.
• Experience in a BPO, call center, or high‑volume operational environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Nicaraguan labor laws and HR policies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
