Global Site Activation Manager – LATAM

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Global Site Activation Manager to lead site start‑up activities across Latin America. The role will ensure activation‑ready sites are delivered on time, within budget, and in full regulatory compliance for assigned clinical programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Site Start‑Up (SSU) deliverables from site selection through activation and lifecycle maintenance.
• Develop and monitor SSU timelines, reporting progress, risks and mitigation plans to project teams and sponsors.
• Oversee regulatory submissions, ethics committee communications, import/export licences and amendment processes.
• Manage clinical trial agreements, investigator budgets and essential document collection to achieve site activation.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Contracts, Project Management, Clinical, Data Management and Medical Writing functions to ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (higher degree preferred) with a minimum of 6 years CRO experience, including at least 3‑4 years in site activation leadership.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong understanding of ICH GCP and clinical trial phases II‑IV.
• Proven project management experience in fast‑paced environments and solid vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation abilities, with a quality‑driven mindset.
