Business Analyst - IRIS Requirements & UAT

About the role

The Business Analyst turns approved IRIS initiatives into clear, detailed business requirements and confirms that what gets built matches what was specified. You gather requirements from stakeholders, write the BRD and detailed logic specifications, hand them off to IT's Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for technical translation, and lead business UAT. You work alongside the Product Owner, who owns the backlog and business case, and the Sr. UX/UI Designer, who provides wireframes and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and partner with the Product Owner on initiative briefs and business cases.
• Write BRDs and detailed logic specifications for IRIS, using wireframes from the UX/UI designer, and manage BRD change control when scope changes.
• Define analytics and reporting tracking requirements for the data team, separate from CRO conversion testing.
• Hand off completed BRDs to the BRM for ADO ticket breakdown, user stories and acceptance criteria, and resolve questions quickly.
• Define IRIS requirements for VCS and D365 integration points, coordinate with the dedicated VCS & D365 Business Analyst, and submit stakeholder tickets for in-store and associate-side workstream issues and creative changes.
• Retrieve Bynder assets needed for ticket delivery and attach them to the ticket.
• Author the UAT test plan and test cases from the BRD, coordinate UAT with stakeholders, consolidate results and sign off on requirement fidelity before sprint review.
• Confirm that new analytics tracking fires correctly after release.

Required profile

• 3-5 years as a business analyst, ideally in ecommerce or retail.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong written communication and the ability to work with IT and business teams.

Required skills

• Experience writing BRDs and detailed business logic specifications.
• Experience designing and running UAT with non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of analytics tracking and tag management.
• Experience with ADO or similar work-tracking tools.
• Preferred: exposure to ERP or POS integrations such as D365 and VCS.
