Bilingual Elementary School Coordinator

About the role

The Bilingual Elementary School Coordinator will lead day‑to‑day academic and administrative operations for the elementary section of St. Mary School in Managua, ensuring that bilingual instruction aligns with the school’s Catholic, ecological and social values.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate class schedules, events and extracurricular activities for elementary students.
• Support classroom teachers, monitor student progress and provide guidance on inclusive, student‑centered practices.
• Facilitate communication among families, staff and school leadership.
• Collaborate on curriculum planning and implement educational initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and values‑based learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in elementary education, curriculum coordination or school administration, preferably in a bilingual or international setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, organize events and support multiple classrooms or teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
• Experience using school information systems for record‑keeping, communication and reporting.
