Warehouse & Distribution Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse & Distribution Specialist manages and optimizes warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficient storage, inventory control, material handling and timely delivery of products. The role supports business continuity through high service levels, operational efficiency, compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. It is an onsite position based in Managua.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and inventory activities, ensuring proper stock rotation and storage conditions
• Maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories, and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Monitor stock levels, inventory aging and material movement
• Coordinate outbound deliveries and order fulfillment, and work with logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transport
• Ensure compliance with shipping and transportation requirements
• Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, GDP standards and Track & Trace processes, support audits and promote health, safety and environmental compliance
• Partner with internal teams and third-party logistics providers, carriers and suppliers, and support issue resolution and service improvement
• Analyze KPIs and operational metrics, and take part in projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, service enhancement and inventory accuracy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, inventory management or supply chain operations
• Experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Experience coordinating third-party logistics providers (3PLs) is preferred
