Video Editor - Short-Form Content (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

A fast-growing US-based law firm specializing in immigration, family law and personal injury uses social media to inform and educate its community. Its client is looking for a remote Video Editor to work with the marketing team and the Lead Attorney, turning raw attorney footage into polished short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The role is independent contractor, remote in Latin America, with a competitive monthly fee.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw attorney footage into clean, engaging short-form videos covering legal topics in immigration, family law and personal injury.
• Maintain a steady pace to deliver about 100 short-form videos per month, with at least one video scheduled and published daily.
• Add accurate subtitles, lower-thirds, graphics and music while keeping legal accuracy and the firm's brand standards.
• Schedule and automate weekend posts during weekday hours using HubSpot or Hootsuite.
• Suggest hooks, trending audio, pacing and visual enhancements to improve reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, written and spoken, with impeccable grammar and spelling for captions.
• Proven track record editing short-form social content; experience with legal, corporate or educational content is a plus.
• Able to deliver a clean short-form edit in 20-30 minutes.
• Strong time management and organization to handle high-volume publishing independently.
• Candidates must live in Latin America and apply with an English CV; a Loom video presentation is optional but gives priority.

• Video editing tools such as CapCut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• AI-assisted captioning and rough-cut software.
