Spanish-Speaking Virtual Medical Assistant

About the role

360VMA is seeking a full‑time, remote Virtual Medical Assistant who is fluent in both Spanish and English. The successful candidate will support our healthcare operations by handling insurance verification, prior authorizations, and a variety of administrative tasks while working closely with patients and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and process related documentation.
• Obtain prior authorizations and manage referrals for HMO plans.
• Coordinate infusion services and other clinical logistics.
• Handle inbound and outbound phone communications with patients and providers.
• Perform medical scribing duties during virtual visits.
• Provide general administrative support to the clinical team.

Required profile

• Graduate of a medical‑related degree (highly preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system.
• Experience with prior authorizations and phone handling is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
