Service Business Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a versatile, high‑energy Service Business Assistant to support our growing clean‑energy team. The role combines inbound and outbound customer communication, lead management, and project workflow coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Inbound Campaign Lead Management: serve as primary point of contact for incoming customer calls generated by active marketing campaigns, capture caller details, qualify opportunities, and deliver top‑tier customer service.
• Outbound Lead Generation & Re‑Engagement: proactively call past customer lists to foster long‑term relationships, re‑engage cold leads, and convert follow‑up conversations into new sales opportunities.
• Project Workflow Management (Zoho): track and update project milestones in Zoho CRM / Zoho Projects, ensuring cross‑functional coordination to keep projects on schedule.
• Client Document Outreach: contact customers to obtain essential onboarding documents (e.g., utility usage bills, property details) for design and permitting teams.
• Email & Customer Service Inbox: manage the central customer email queue, providing fast, professional, and knowledgeable support.

Required profile

• Industry experience in solar or renewable energy is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with solar terminology, net metering/utility bills, and project lifecycle workflows.
• Comfortable making both inbound and outbound phone calls with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to balance sales goals with administrative rigor and project tracking.
• Warm, professional, solution‑oriented customer approach.

Required skills

• Experience with Zoho CRM or similar CRM tools.
• Experience with Zoho Projects or comparable project‑management platforms.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
