Senior Security Engineer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead supply‑chain and cloud‑native security across hundreds of services. You will design hardened container images, secure Kubernetes workloads, and build Go‑based automation while collaborating directly with engineering teams through Git PR workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design hardened container base images and secure Kubernetes workloads at scale.
• Develop Go‑based security automation tools.
• Drive vulnerability remediation via Git PRs, committing patches directly.
• Perform SCA, SAST, and DAST triage from discovery to patch.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and Helm charts against supply‑chain risks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a security focus.
• Strong proficiency in Go for building security tooling.
• Deep knowledge of container security, Kubernetes runtime security, and admission controllers.
• Experience with large‑scale dependency vulnerability remediation (SCA, SAST, DAST).
• Background in supply‑chain security, CI/CD hardening, IaC, and Helm charts.
