Senior Data Analyst (Temporary Contract)

About the role

Applaudo, an AI-native organization building AI-powered solutions, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for a 2-month contractor agreement, with an expected start in the first week of November; immediate availability is preferred. The analyst turns complex data into clear, actionable insights, converts business questions into KPIs, metrics, dashboards and recommendations, and works with cross-functional teams and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards on top of BigQuery to support business decisions
• Translate business questions into KPIs, metrics and reports that stakeholders can act on
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for analysis and reporting
• Use Python to manipulate, analyze and automate recurring data and reporting tasks
• Work with data hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based data solutions
• Validate data quality and consistency across sources before publishing insights
• Present findings, narratives and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analysis within short timelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting and business intelligence
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher) to work directly with stakeholders

Required skills

• Looker Studio, preferably on top of BigQuery
• Advanced SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures and performance optimization
• Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
