Sales Executive – Modern Channel (FMCG)

About the role

As a Sales Executive for the Modern Channel, you will represent Colgate‑Palmolive, building trust‑based relationships with clients and driving growth across the FMCG portfolio. You will execute the 7Ps strategy and Joint Business Plans to increase sales, market share and omnichannel presence profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate and execute 5P strategies and Joint Business Plans to achieve sales, margin and distribution targets within budget.
• Maintain proactive client communication, participate in Top‑to‑Top meetings and manage account administration, including credit policies and rebates.
• Conduct field visits to identify opportunities, monitor competitor activity and optimise inventory levels and promotional displays.
• Analyse trade statistics and insights to build high‑impact promotional plans, accurate sales forecasts and growth strategies.
• Communicate plans to in‑store field teams, provide clear direction and timely feedback, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or trade marketing within the Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with SAP.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Use of AI tools for analytics.
