Remote IT Project Manager

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with a remote-first team of 4,000+ people, is hiring an IT Project Manager. You will lead one or more medium to large-scale technology projects, often centred on staff augmentation and software delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic technology plans and organize and monitor project outcomes, coaching team members and coordinating company procedures and policies.
• Foster communication and team relationships, identify growth opportunities and support staff retention.
• Evaluate and optimize billable utilization, support capacity planning and contribute to project profitability forecasting.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities with existing clients and deliver value to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support IT strategies and procedures by evaluating outcomes, identifying issues, assessing trends and understanding requirements.
• Contribute to financial objectives through forecasting, expenditure management, variance review and corrective actions.
• Implement organizational standards to ensure quality service.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management or related roles.
• People management experience, including performance planning, team development and employee relations.
• Good experience with financial management and budget oversight.
• Advanced level of English.
• Desirable: past experience as a software engineer, a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, and experience with direct competitors.

• Good technical expertise with an IT industry background.
