Remote Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Assistant Maintenance Manager to support our property‑management clients remotely. You will act as the central hub for work orders, vendor coordination, and tenant communication, ensuring properties are well‑maintained and owners stay informed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assign, and follow up on pending work orders.
• Coordinate scheduling, tracking, and completion of maintenance tasks with vendors.
• Communicate with property owners to obtain approvals and provide semi‑annual/annual maintenance estimates.
• Oversee appliance improvements, replacements, and annual filter purchases.
• Follow up with tenants after service visits to confirm satisfaction.
• Schedule and dispatch cleaning teams based on property needs.
• Document all work orders accurately in AppFolio for billing.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills and bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with AppFolio property‑management software.
• Stable internet connection, UPS backup, and dual monitors.
• Excellent organization, follow‑up, and attention to detail.
