People Business Partner

About the role

Remitly is seeking a People Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor for its business units. You will shape people strategies, support talent development, and drive engagement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line‑of‑business leaders to understand and implement people initiatives.
• Provide guidance on staffing, total rewards, talent development, and retention.
• Support leaders with talent development plans and employee discipline actions.
• Communicate global and local people initiatives to stakeholders.
• Lead learning sessions on people topics and ensure data‑driven conversations.
• Identify trends, make recommendations, and champion Remitly’s culture and values.
• Collaborate with senior partners on organization development and process improvement.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and business acumen.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and act as a primary point of contact on people matters.
• Excellent communication and data‑analysis skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive culture and employee engagement.
