Onboarding Specialist

About the role

The Onboarding Specialist will ensure a seamless, compliant, and positive onboarding experience for employees hired through our Employer of Record (EOR) services, primarily supporting US‑based clients. You will manage the end‑to‑end onboarding journey while collaborating with internal teams and handling support tickets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full onboarding process for employees under the EOR model, collecting documentation and ensuring timely payroll, tax, and benefits setup.
• Act as the main point of contact for US‑based clients, providing progress updates and responding to queries.
• Handle and resolve support tickets related to onboarding and client inquiries within defined service‑level expectations.
• Ensure onboarding procedures comply with local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of onboarding documents, contracts, and employee information.
• Coordinate with the payroll team to guarantee accurate and timely employee payments.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance, Client Relations, and other departments to deliver a cohesive onboarding experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onboarding, HR, client servicing, or related roles.
• Familiarity with Employer of Record services and global employment processes.
• Experience working with US‑based clients or employees is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong client‑facing and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes and support queries simultaneously.
• Proficiency with HRIS, CRM, ticketing and onboarding software.
• Collaborative mindset for working in a global, cross‑functional environment.
• HR‑related certifications and fluency in Spanish are a plus.
