HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Operations Support

About the role

The HR Generalist provides comprehensive Human Resources support to employees, leaders, and business operations. Serving as the primary HR point of contact, the role ensures effective execution of HR processes, employee relations, and policy implementation while partnering closely with Operations leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for Operations leaders, offering guidance on employee concerns, workplace issues, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct and document employee relations meetings and investigations, support corrective actions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR processes for assigned sites, campaigns, or employee populations and support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate onboarding for supervisors and operations managers, and communicate new or updated HR policies.
• Organize monthly focus groups, coffee talks, and other HR activities, gathering employee feedback to identify recurring themes for HR or Operations action.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, or a related field.
• English proficiency required; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably as a Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations specialist.
• Experience in a BPO, call center, or high‑volume operational environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Nicaraguan labor laws and HR policies.
