French-English Virtual Assistant – Short-Term Rental Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Virtual Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our short‑term rental portfolio. The role involves managing guest communications, reservations, and coordinating property services remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in French and English across Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, and other platforms.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and issues throughout their stay.
• Manage reservations, availability, check‑ins, check‑outs, and guest information.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and other property‑related services.
• Monitor guest reviews and maintain high satisfaction standards.
• Assist with listing updates, pricing, and availability.
• Ensure accurate calendars across booking platforms and resolve operational issues.
• Escalate urgent guest or property issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in short‑term rentals, hospitality, property management, or guest services.
• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and flexible hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with PMS/channel management systems such as Guesty, Hostaway, Hostfully, or Hospitable (preferred).
• Knowledge of tools like PriceLabs, Slack, Google Workspace, and task‑management platforms.
• Strong written communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
