About the role

The Payroll Specialist will manage end‑to‑end payroll processes for Tigo’s Frontline workforce in Nicaragua, ensuring accurate calculations, timely payments and strict compliance with internal policies and local labor legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and consolidate payroll incidents, applying them correctly.
• Perform payroll calculations, labor settlements and accounting provisions.
• Reconcile payroll, travel allowances, medical subsidies and other concepts.
• Monitor data quality from the outsourcing provider.
• Process payroll activities in SAP and support audit requirements.
• Prepare reports for government institutions.
• Handle documentation for new hires and respond to employee inquiries.
• Assist other compensation and benefits processes.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, preferably with large‑scale, high‑turnover payrolls.
• Experience in employee service and support.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and high sense of confidentiality.

Required skills

• Intermediate‑advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP payroll modules.
• Knowledge of Nicaraguan labor legislation.
