About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end Frontline payroll process at Tigo Nicaragua. The role ensures accurate application of incidents, calculations, reconciliations and payments while complying with internal policies, local labor legislation and strict confidentiality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and consolidate payroll incidents and ensure correct application.
• Perform payroll calculations, labor settlements and accounting provisions.
• Reconcile payroll, travel allowances, medical subsidies and other concepts.
• Monitor data quality provided by the outsourcing payroll vendor.
• Process payroll activities in SAP and support audit requirements.
• Prepare reports for governmental institutions.
• Handle documentation for new hires.
• Provide timely assistance to employee inquiries.
• Support additional compensation and benefits processes.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, especially with high‑volume, high‑turnover payrolls.
• Experience in employee service and support.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented mindset with high confidentiality.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in SAP payroll modules.
