Enfermera – Auxiliar de Salud Ocupacional

About the role

The company seeks a qualified Nurse to support occupational health activities within its manufacturing plant. The role involves providing nursing care, first aid, and health administration to employees and contractors, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the plant physician with all health‑related activities for workers.
• Provide nursing care and first‑aid services when required.
• Open, maintain, and present employee medical records for consultations.
• Conduct pre‑clinical assessments: vital signs, height, weight, and anthropometry.
• Administer medications and treatments according to medical prescriptions.
• Participate in medical examinations, pre‑employment screenings, and periodic health checks.
• Perform wound care, injections, nebulizations, and other primary medical procedures.
• Support the physician with audiometry, drug testing, and other occupational health tests.
• Maintain clinical supplies, medication inventory (kardex), and ensure cleanliness of equipment.
• Restock first‑aid kits across plant areas as required by EHS.
• Comply with the occupational health and safety management system documentation.

Required profile

• Auxiliary Nursing degree (Título de Auxiliar de Enfermería).
• At least 1 year of experience in primary care settings (health centers, social security clinics, private clinics).
• Initiative, adaptability, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Vital signs measurement.
