Bilingual Patient Scheduling Coordinator - Cardiology

About the role

This is a full‑time contractor position focused on verifying upcoming appointments and re‑engaging patients who missed or cancelled visits in a cardiology practice serving an older population. The role requires clear, empathetic communication and the ability to manage both outbound and inbound patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Review upcoming schedules, conduct outbound confirmation calls, process reschedules/cancellations, and update records in Epic.
• Identify, track, and contact overdue, cancelled, and no‑show patients using multi‑channel outreach until appointments are secured or records are closed.
• Manage incoming phone lines as needed, schedule and reschedule visits, resolve routine queries, route clinical messages, and document all interactions in the EMR.

Required profile

• Fluency in English.
• Hands‑on experience with Epic EHR and cardiology practice workflows.
• Direct experience communicating with older patient populations.
• Background in patient reactivation, high‑volume scheduling, or medical receptionist duties.
