Clojure Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Clojure Full Stack Engineer to own end‑to‑end features for a retail AI outfitting platform. You will design PostgreSQL schemas, implement Clojure APIs, and review ClojureScript UIs used daily by our internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain database schemas in PostgreSQL.
• Develop backend services in Clojure that integrate with LLM APIs.
• Build and review ClojureScript front‑end components.
• Orchestrate multi‑step AI workflows using workflow tools.
• Contribute to semantic search pipelines across massive product catalogs.
• Make architectural decisions and ship high‑scale features independently.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Clojure and hands‑on experience with ClojureScript.
• Solid background in PostgreSQL schema design and SQL.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs at the production level.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Familiarity with REST API design and functional programming tools such as shadow‑cljs, re‑frame, and reagent.
• Experience with prompt engineering or handling non‑deterministic AI outputs.
