Assistant Maintenance Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Assistant Maintenance Manager to support our property‑management clients remotely. You will act as the central hub for work orders, vendor coordination, and tenant communication, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assign, and follow up on pending work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors to schedule, track, and complete maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with property owners to obtain approvals and provide semi‑annual/annual maintenance estimates.
• Oversee appliance improvements, replacements, and annual filter purchases.
• Follow up with tenants after service visits to confirm satisfaction.
• Schedule and dispatch cleaning teams based on property needs.
• Document all work orders accurately in AppFolio for billing.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Stable internet connection, UPS backup, and dual monitors.
• Excellent organization, follow‑up, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AppFolio property‑management software.
