Accounts Receivable Analyst – Medical Billing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst with solid experience in medical billing to support the healthcare revenue cycle. The role involves managing insurance aging reports, resolving denials, and ensuring optimal reimbursement from commercial and government payers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, appeal, and resolve denied or underpaid medical insurance claims.
• Track outstanding claims using aging reports and follow up directly with payers.
• Review electronic remittance advice (ERAs) and explanations of benefits (EOBs) for accurate payment posting.
• Monitor revenue metrics, focusing on reducing days in accounts receivable.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and medical coding guidelines.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• 2‑3 years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable or medical billing.
• In‑depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EHR/billing platforms such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Familiarity with Hubstaff, Zoom, and QuickBooks.
