Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

Remitly is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to drive financial insight, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision‑making across the business. You will partner with senior leaders, lead high‑impact projects, and help evolve finance processes and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary finance partner for the Executive Leadership Team, presenting month‑end results and quarterly forecasts.
• Own and analyze complex OpEx data, identify drivers, and recommend actions to improve cost efficiency.
• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts, including headcount planning.
• Drive annual budgeting and long‑range planning in partnership with business leaders.
• Develop executive‑ready financial reporting, dashboards and presentations.
• Manage expense and headcount allocation for supported teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes, models and reporting.
• Lead cross‑functional financial initiatives such as cost‑optimization and business‑process improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of FP&A or finance experience with ownership of complex analysis and forecasting.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decisions through data‑driven insights.
• Strong analytical thinking, project‑management skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Experience with Adaptive, NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, G Suite and OfficeConnect (preferred).
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger navigation.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance finance and analytics work.
