Account Resolution Representative

About the role

The Account Resolution Representative works within a fast‑paced call‑center environment to manage and resolve open accounts across VarentHoldings' portfolio. You will interact directly with law offices, funders, and other third parties, gathering documentation and driving timely claim resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Correspond with law offices, funders, and third parties to collect required documents and ensure timely claim resolution or payment.
• Send missing bills and reports, upload supporting documents, and set verification status.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, prioritising aging balances and high‑impact files.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activity in internal software and case‑management systems.
• Request new attorney information for transferred cases and route unknown representation appropriately.
• Follow up on outstanding balances via phone, email, and written correspondence, ensuring compliance with outreach attempts within 90 days.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies, escalating unresolved issues to the Collections Manager.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Collaborate with the collections team to improve processes and administrative efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism.
• Close attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Proficiency with standard office software and quick learning of internal systems.
• Self‑starter who can work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Call‑center experience is mandatory.
• Excellent English proficiency and immediate availability.
