Senior Google Cloud Architect

About the role

As a Senior Google Cloud Architect at Deloitte, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑grade solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will set standards, define components and promote best practices to build a scalable, secure and resilient cloud environment that aligns with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and design reference architectures, landing zones, cloud governance and security frameworks.
• Lead hybrid and multi‑cloud architecture evolution, ensuring solutions support strategic initiatives.
• Architect micro‑service, API‑centric, event‑driven and Kubernetes (GKE) native solutions with a focus on observability, resilience and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with business, data and AI leaders to translate requirements into sustainable cloud designs.
• Drive adoption of modern data platforms, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence services on GCP.

Required profile

• 7+ years of enterprise solution architecture experience, with at least 3 years designing on GCP.
• Proven track record in digital transformation, hybrid/multi‑cloud, data platforms and AI projects.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Strategic thinking, technical leadership and ability to communicate with executive and technical audiences.
