WordPress Support Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented WordPress Support Developer to maintain and enhance a portfolio of live client websites for a digital‑marketing agency. The role focuses on quick, reliable fixes, updates, and performance improvements across WordPress and other CMS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bug fixes, layout adjustments, and element updates on WordPress sites.
• Support additional CMS platforms such as Duda, Squarespace, and Divi.
• Set up and manage staging environments for safe testing.
• Configure and monitor daily backups within hosting environments.
• Update themes, plugins, and CMS components regularly.
• Implement and validate schema markup and technical SEO enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve site speed, responsiveness, and performance issues.
• Maintain overall website health, stability, and integration functionality.
• Document recurring issues and solutions to improve team efficiency.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of experience in WordPress maintenance and support.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple CMS platforms (WordPress required; Duda, Squarespace, Divi a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with technical SEO concepts such as site speed, schema, and indexing.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple small tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written communication in English.
• Availability to work within or overlap U.S. time zones.
• Residency in LATAM or Europe.
