Técnico Electricista – Mantenimiento Industrial

About the role

This permanent position is based in Chinandega, Nicaragua, and focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting complex electrical systems in a plant environment. The Maintenance Electrician III will ensure safe operation of all electrical assets while executing preventive maintenance plans.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and reactive industrial electrical work across the facility.
• Create, install and troubleshoot wiring designs and circuit routing.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings and operation manuals.
• Document completed work and observed conditions using maintenance software.
• Collaborate regularly with external suppliers, colleagues and management to drive continuous improvement.
• Support other team members as needed and undertake any additional tasks assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Technical education in Electrical or Electronic fields.
• Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
• Capability to work at heights up to 35 m and in confined spaces.
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays or rotating shifts.
• Experience working in noisy, dusty or hot environments (up to 38 °C).
