Talent Screener – Remote (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Talent Screener to join our remote recruitment team. You will be the first point of contact for candidates, ensuring they meet the defined criteria before moving forward in the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Screen every candidate handed off by the Talent Sourcer without re‑reviewing or re‑qualifying them before scheduling.
• Review applicants from all other sources against knockout criteria and success profiles, advancing qualified candidates to a screening interview.
• Escalate ambiguous or borderline profiles to the assigned Recruiter.
• Complete review decisions for non‑sourced applicants within three days and record outcomes in the ATS.
• Conduct live video screening interviews using the approved guide and scorecard, assessing qualifications, work authorization, location, relocation feasibility, and compensation expectations.
• Maintain consistent questioning, scoring, and data hygiene across high‑volume reviews.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured screening procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, able to adapt tone and vocabulary to diverse candidate backgrounds.
• Ability to make quick, data‑driven decisions while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and structured data entry.
• Experience conducting video interviews and using interview scorecards.
• Familiarity with work‑authorization, relocation, and compensation questioning compliance.
