Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

Remitly is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to drive financial insight, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision‑making across the business. You will partner with senior leaders, lead complex forecasts, and champion expense and resource optimization initiatives. This role combines core FP&A duties with high‑impact projects that shape finance processes and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary finance partner to the Executive Leadership Team, presenting month‑end results and quarterly forecasts.
• Own and analyze complex OpEx data, identify drivers, and recommend actions to improve cost efficiency.
• Lead preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, including detailed headcount planning.
• Support annual budgeting and long‑range planning, aligning spend with strategic priorities.
• Develop high‑quality financial reporting, dashboards, and executive‑ready presentations.
• Manage expense and headcount allocation for supported teams, ensuring disciplined resource use.

Required profile

• Solid grasp of financial planning concepts and forecasting methodologies.
• Ability to translate financial analysis into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and working independently.
