Senior Business Analyst (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You will act as the bridge between clients, product teams, and engineers, ensuring delivered solutions meet real needs. The role supports a mix of client projects, internal products, and new‑project scoping.

Key responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Document current‑state and future‑state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Break project scope into epics and user stories for accurate engineering estimates.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira and partner with the Product Manager to groom the backlog.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers in Figma to align screens with requirements and flag gaps.
• Support sprint activities, answer engineering questions, and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar on software projects.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Comfort with process mapping, data modeling, and communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to lead meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
