Senior Auditor

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Assurance practice in Managua. The role involves delivering independent audit opinions on financial statements, assessing internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent assessments of financial statements and related information.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance and risk‑management processes.
• Obtain reasonable assurance that statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error.
• Issue audit reports that include the auditor’s opinion.
• Build and maintain meaningful client relationships throughout the audit engagement.
• Interpret data to generate insights and recommendations for clients.
• Uphold PwC professional, technical and independence standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial statement audit and assurance.
• Ability to work with diverse client needs and perspectives.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
