Procurement Specialist II – Procurement Projects & Analytics

About the role

The Procurement Specialist II will lead end‑to‑end procurement initiatives, turning spend data into actionable insights and driving process improvements through best practices and emerging AI tools. Working closely with finance, operations and supplier teams, the specialist ensures purchase orders and contract workflows are created, maintained and executed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Support creation, maintenance and alignment of purchase orders and contract workflows throughout the year.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate budgetary requirements into accurate purchase orders and ensure timely order placement.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to keep the procurement‑to‑payment cycle smooth and issue‑free.
• Collect, organize and analyze procurement and third‑party cost data to identify trends, supplier concentration and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Lead spend analysis projects, generate dashboards and visual reports for senior leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and implement improvements, leveraging AI and automation where appropriate.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and support contract negotiations.
• Provide project coordination and execution support for cross‑functional procurement initiatives.
